====== Lugamun ====== **Important announcement:**\\ **Further Lugamun development is now paused**\\ – see that post for details and rationale. **Lugamun**, short for **luga komun** (common language), is an easy-to-learn, logical and well-balanced auxiliary language for global usage. Its goal is to allow people who otherwise don't share a common language to communicate effectively and on an equal footing. Lugamun's vocabulary and grammar are based on the most widely spoken languages from around the world. It is developed in a systematic fashion based on an algorithmic process in order to ensure a globally fair and accessible vocabulary. ===== What you'll find here ===== ==== Information in English ==== * en:Grammar: – the complete Lugamun grammar * en:Wordlist – a grouped list of all the words in Lugamun, with English translations * FAQ and background – information on why Lugamun looks the way it does, how and why its source languages were chosen, how new words are added etc. * en:Statistics on the influences of the various source languages, on the numbers of words, word classes, and individual sounds (letters) in the dictionary * List of Reddit articles about the language * en:Authors and acknowledgments – information on who is creating Lugamun and who is contributing to the language and this wiki ===== ===== ==== Working area ==== * Proposals for new words – proposals for new words to be created soon can be added here ===== Get involved ===== This website is an open wiki, jointly grown by all who want to contribute.
